Trees to the Sea

Today I participated in a fun volunteer project. Over 700 people gathered early this morning to plant 120 trees along Imperial Highway, adjacent to LAX.
This marvelous event was organized by the Tree Musketeers (http://www.treemusketeers.org/news/news.asp?ID=154). 70 members of my company (http://www.freshandeasy.com/) participated.
My group of 8 volunteers cleared weeds, picked up trash, gathered recyclables, and most importantly planted 4 beautiful pines (not sure what variety exactly).
There where lots of ladybugs, for some reason this facinated me.
It was a tremendously rewarding experience to participate this event. I know trees are one of God's most beautiful creations and have a profound love for them.

Hooray trees!
